Oregon Main Street Manager Portal

This is the Oregon Main Street Manager Portal. It is intended to be used by those enrolled in the Oregon Main Street Network. If you'd like to be a part of the Oregon Main Street Network, please contact Sheri Stuart at sheri.stuart@oprd.oregon.gov or (503) 986-0679.

Below are frequently requested resources available for Main Street managers to use. If you do not see something here that you would like to request, you can do the following:

- Send an email out to the Oregon Main Street Managers Listserv (oms_managers@omls.oregon.gov) to crowdsource examples, resources, information.

- Contact Sheri Stuart.

Oregon Main Street Network Information

​Oregon Main Street, a Main Street America State Coordinating program, is here to help communities wherever they are in their downtown revitalization efforts. We provide support to organizations who are ready to roll-up their sleeves; develop a vision for how they want their downtown to look, feel, and function; and then attract the people and financial resources to bring about the change they want to see happen. We accomplish this by providing training and technical assistance to communities participating in the Main Street Track of the Oregon Main Street Network, and by access to the Oregon Main Street Revitalization Grant which funds building improvement projects that spur economic development for all Network communities (available once per biennium in odd years).

Quarterly Report Submission: 

​Quarterly report data submissions are based on the Quarterly Report Workbook.​ Use this workbook to capture data throughout the quarter. Between the close of the quarter and the due date, submit the data totals and upload the completed workbook in the form below.

To keep track of your progress and accomplishments throughout the quarter, use the Quarterly Report Workbook. ​You will have to transfer this information to the report submission links above.

We highly suggest you use these stats locally as well and have a tip sheet on How to Use Reinvestment Statistics. ​




OMS “Excellence on Main” Awards 

Excellence on Main Awards have moved to a biannual opportunity coupled with the biannual (odd-year) Oregon Main Street Conference. Applications for awards will reopen in the summer ​ahead of the 2025 conference.

The Excellence on Main awards honor the people, the projects, and the activities that are outstanding achievements across Oregon in enhancing the sense of place of our historic downtowns and traditional commercial districts. Click here for info about the awards​, the award categories, nomination questions, and more.

Eligible Applicants: The Excellence on Main Awards is open to all organizations in the new Accredited Main Street, Designated Main Street, and Affiliate Main Street levels. You can find that tier list here.

Project Time Frame:  Applications are not currently open.

Registration for the Online Application System:  Moving forward Heritage is  using the grants management system for nominations. When applications open, you can register at www.oprdgrants.org. If you already have an account (e.g., you previously applied for an Oregon Main Street Revitalization grant or Diamonds in the Rough), then request through Kuri.Gill@oregon.gov or 503-986-0685 to add Excellence on Main Awards option to your account. Log in using your email address and your password. See online registration instructions for detailed directions to use the online grant system.

Application Submission: Once you have a login, you will be able to submit your application. You can enter information, save, log out, log back in, enter more, etc. as many times as you would like before you submit. Instructions for OPRD: Grants Online visit our website here.

OMS Listserv Information - We have an open listerv that all tiers of the Oregon Main Street Network can subscribe to and utilize. Here are some tips on using it:

  • If you want to join the listserve, contact sheri.stuart@oregon.gov and she will add you to it. It is closed to the OMS Network only so you will need to get approval from her to join.
  • Anyone subscribed to the listserv can send an email out with an inquiry, lessons learned request, info request, bragging about an awesome thing your group did, awesome resource you found, etc.
  • To send an announcement or question to the listserv, email oms_managers@omls.oregon.gov.
  • WARNING! We welcome dialogue and replies to things posted on the listserv, however, be aware that when you reply, your reply is going to everyone on the listerv. If you just want to say something to the person who sent it, forward your personal response to them seperately.
