The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently approved Oregon State Hospital’s Plan of Correction (PoC) related to a survey that was prompted by a patient death in May 2024. Surveyors also reviewed a second patient death that occurred in Nov. 2023. The PoC was developed in response to the CMS statement of deficiencies.
