Summary of Services:

On any given night, hundreds of Veterans find themselves houseless on the streets of Portland. Do Good Multnomah is determined to change that.

Do Good partners with the community to provide low-barrier emergency shelter and permanent supportive housing to houseless Veterans and other underserved communities in the Portland metro region. We emphasize relationship-building, one-on-one engagement, supportive services, and direct community participation, transforming the way our

Do Good operates five types of housing programs that meet the needs of participants wherever they are on their housing journey. For those just coming off the streets, there are three congregate shelters and four motel-based shelters, as well as one bridge housing program. Our two transitional housing programs are tiny-home villages that serve as a bridge from houselessness to permanent housing. Our Permanent Supportive Housing programs offer each Veteran a lease, and include support services on-site, aimed at assisting residents in maintaining housing and building community. And the Mobile Supportive Services team provides social services, mental health, and peer support to those living in affordable housing across the area.

The goal in every one of Do Good's programs is to provide person-centered, trauma-informed, and individualized services that support participants and inspire dignity, sustainability, and purpose.
