About

Enlarged project area mapOR 99E is heavily used and this portion of the highway is in poor condition, difficult and expensive to maintain. The current conditions create a bumpy ride for people driving through the area.

We'll repave the road between Dimmick Lane and Fobert Road NE in Hubbard and make bike and pedestrian improvements.

With this project we will look to:

  • Preserve the road, reducing maintenance costs and giving you a smoother ride.
  • Add additional sidewalks and curb ramps to improve accessibility for pedestrians moving through the area.
  • Update guardrail where needed to meet current design standards.
  • Review property accesses and driveways to determine if improvements are needed to tie into the new pavement or sidewalk.
  • Review utility locations and determine if they need to be moved.
  • Update signs and striping.

We're planning to build and will have a better idea about how much construction will cost and what the schedule will be as we get further into design.
