About

enlarged project map iconEast of the town of Oakridge on OR 58, the surface of the highway and one bridge was in bad condition.

After winter 2022, we looked at the highway and found we needed to prioritize repaving to preserve the road and prevent further deterioration and more costly repairs.

We:

  • Removed and replace the old asphalt on about eight miles of road.

  • Removed and replace about two inches of concrete on the bridge west of the tunnel.

  • Provided a smoother surface for drivers.
