About

Enlarged project area mapThe culvert at Butte Creek on U.S. 101 is in critical condition. We're replacing the existing culvert with a bridge.

This will create an easier passage for native migratory fish, like salmon. Improving fish passage aligns with our commitments to the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds

We will:

  •  Remove the old culvert.
  •  Build a new bridge.
  •  Replace the existing guardrail.

By replacing the failing culvert, we'll make the road safer and more stable which will reduce maintenance costs.

We are planning to build and will have a better idea about the construction schedule and cost as we get further into design.
