About
The existing poles and span wires holding the traffic signals at these intersections are old and do not meet current safety standards.
- SW Dorion Avenue (U.S. 30) and SW 1st Street.
Due to an increase in costs, we have removed work at SW Court Avenue and SW 1st Street for this phase. Funds will be allocated to the next phase of this project.
Replacement signals will have new metal poles with arched extensions holding signal heads.
ADA curb ramp upgrades at the SW Dorion Avenue/SW 1st Street intersection will include eight new ramps, two per corner, each facing the crosswalk (see diagram) to meet required safety standards.
