About

The All Roads Transportation Safety (ARTS) Program addresses safety needs on all public roads in Oregon. This project will enhance safety by improving several intersections on U.S. 97, U.S. 26,  U.S. 197, and U.S. 30.

Intersection upgrades will include:
  • Sign upgrades on U.S. 26 and U.S. 197/U.S. 30 
  • Traffic signal improvements at two signalized intersections on U.S. 97 in Redmond.​

What Problem Will This Improve?

​​Intersection related crashes account for a significant portion of Oregon driving fatalities. The installation of safety upgrades, including signs and signal modifications, is an effective way to reduce intersection crashes.​
