Traffic Impact
Traffic Impacts: (March 29–April 5, 2025): Short duration lane and shoulder closures.
During construction, travelers can expect:
- Short-term single lane and shoulder closures in construction areas.
- Traffic lights temporarily disabled at some intersections with flaggers directing traffic.
- Temporary sidewalk closures with signed pedestrian detours around the work zones.
- Daytime and nighttime work.
- To reduce daytime traffic impacts, some work will be done at night with flaggers directing traffic.
Construction Impacts
Work will take place at multiple intersections simultaneously, with most traffic impacts lasting one to seven days per location.
There are a small number of intersections that will see traffic impacts for a longer duration. Improvements will be completed in phases, with crews returning as needed.
Nighttime Noise Impacts
To minimize traffic impacts during the day, some night work may be required. Those working or living in the area may hear the noise from heavy equipment and construction trucks.
Nighttime Noise Hotline
For concerns about nighttime noise during construction, please contact the noise hotline at 503-276-7813.
