We are repaving U.S. 26 (Sunset Highway) in both directions from Cornelius Pass Road to Glencoe Road. This section of U.S. 26 travels through Hillsboro and North Plains. We are also making repairs on two bridges and replacing a culvert under the highway.
Paving: Repave approximately six miles of U.S. 26 in both directions from Cornelius Pass Road to Glencoe Road. This section of U.S. 26 travels through Washington County and includes Hillsboro and North Plains. Crews will repair surface cracking and pavement rutting and deterioration before paving.
Bridges: Repair and resurface the bridge deck and replace bridge joints on both U.S. 26 bridges over McKay Creek.
Culvert: Remove and replace a partially collapsed 30-inch culvert under U.S. 26 eastbound. [as of May 2024, the culvert work is complete]
Ramp Meters: Install new ramp meters on the Jackson School Road eastbound on-ramp and the Brookwood Parkway eastbound on-ramp.
