Traffic Impact
You can expect minor delays and 24/7 single lane closures. Mill Street traffic is shifted and restricted to one-way, northbound traffic. Starting 3/22, traffic signals on Main and Mill Street will have no power. We expect the power to be restored same day but it may be down through the weekend if necessary, please drive with caution through the area.
Construction Impacts
You can expect:
Crews working during the day, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
24/7 single lane closures on Mill Street from South A Street to Centennial Boulevard.
Mill Street to be restricted to one-way traffic between Main Street and Centennial Boulevard.
Northbound traffic is shifted to the westside of the street.
Southbound traffic can go around the work zone on adjacent streets.
'E' Street is open for use to cross Mill Street.
Pedestrian crossing to be limited, follow signed detours.
Parking to not be allowed on Mill Street.
Starting Saturday, 3/22, the Mill Street and Main Street traffic signals will have no power while our utility partner moves the power lines to the newly installed poles. We expect the power to be restored the same day but it may be down through the weekend if necessary.

Construction Activities
We're rebuilding Mill Street to give you a smoother, more comfortable ride and making the area safer for all users. We're starting work on the wastewater and stormwater pipe installation before beginning work on sidewalk and street reconstruction in 2025.

Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work!
Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
