Traffic Impact
Single lane closures with flaggers helping direct traffic as needed.
Construction Impacts
You can expect:
Crews working Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Noise, delays and lane closures with flaggers as needed.
Most impactful periods of work to require:
A 24-hour lane closure estimated for 10 days in June.
A 24-hour lane closure estimated for 24 days after Labor Day in September.
Flaggers helping direct traffic through the single lane during the closures.
The single lane to be 14-feet wide. We'll use concrete barriers to help define the single lane. Vehicles needing more than 14-feet will need to use an alternate route.
We don't plan on doing any work on the bridge in July and August that would impact traffic.

Construction Activities
We're working on the first of two stages, which is setting the new bridge foundation. This work involves machines pounding supports into the ground for the new bridge.
The second stage will include replacing the bridge one lane at a time. We expect to start this stage after Labor Day in September.

Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones.
Pay attention in the work zone, slow down and move over – imagine this is where you work!
Always drive safely, watch for construction signs and workers.
Remember: fines double in all Oregon work zones, whether workers and signs are present or not.
