Enlarged project map.​Extensive public involvement occurred during the IAMP development. Technical Advisory Committee and Public Advisory Committee meetings, three public workshops, public joint work sessions and public hearings, held between May 2009 and November 2010, provided project coordination and public participation.

About

​This project is part of the I-84/U.S. 395 Interchange Area Management Plan (IAMP) for Pendleton. Pendleton IAMP

Project elements include:
  1. Realign the westbound ramp, Southwest 20th Street, Southwest Emigrant Avenue and U.S. 395 into a single intersection with traffic signals.
  2. Widen Southwest 20th Street to a five-lane cross section between Southeast Emigrant Avenue and Southwest Court Street.
  3. ​Widen southwest bound Southwest Court Avenue to accommodate dual left-turn lanes at the Southwest 20th Street intersection.

​$1 million for preliminary engineering.

Project costs shared between the City of Pendleton and the Oregon Department of Transportation.

This is a preliminary engineering project, with no funding for right of way, utilities or construction.
