OR 219 Pedestrian Safety Project

Region 2: Willamette Valley and Northwest Oregon (Newberg, Yamhill County)

We built new sidewalks to improve pedestrian safety between Aldercrest Drive and E Edgewood Drive.

About

We continued improvements on OR 219 in the City of Newberg to improve pedestrian safety.

We:

Constructed sidewalks on the west side of OR 219 by replacing the drainage ditch with sidewalks.
Installed ADA compliant curb ramps.
Improved drainage.
Added striping bike lanes on both sides of the road.
