How to Participate in Electronic Vehicle Registration Service

 

Vehicle dealers can use the EVR service to enter title and registration transactions using a computer interface. EVR services are provided through private companies working on behalf of the State of Oregon.  

Benefits to using the EVR service: 

  • Instant and efficient titling and registering of vehicles.
  • Reduce your paperwork and errors through technology and support.
  • Access to current customer information.

The maximum processing fees your dealership can charge a customer are: 

  • $250 when using an EVR integrator
  • $200 when not using an EVR integrator

Your dealership:

  • May negotiate these fees with the customer.
  • Cannot charge the fees if you are not preparing the paperwork for the customer.
