Pedestrian Rail Crossings

Railroad Diagnostic Meetings are required at rail crossings when alterations occur. Accessibility considerations are evaluated at pedestrian crossings.  Rail Crossing Orders are approved with the ODOT Commerce and Compliance Office when a change occurs at the rail crossing. Detectable warning surface devices are required for pedestrian rail crossings per Oregon Standards.
