Images (H3)

Photos should be resized prior to adding them to the page. Please make sure to upload all photos to the image library for your site prior to adding them to the page. This will keep things tidy in your site backend.

We recommend always having photo position be set to "Pull Right" and style set to "Rounded". These settings are found on the "Image" tab on your edit toolbar.

Alt Text (H4)

For each photo you will need to add alt text.

  1. Insert the Photo into the content well.
  2. Click on the image.
  3. Navigate to the "Image" tab on your edit toolbar.
  4. Type a short description of the photo into the "Alt Text" field.

Previous and Next Buttons (H3)

These specialized buttons can be used to create navigation on the bottom of each page of your OOH.

To create these navigational buttons:
  1. Scroll to the very last content well on your page and "Click here to add new content".
  2. In the content well type:  Prev Next
  3. Highlight "Prev" or "Next" and on the "Insert" tab of your toolbar click "Link > From SharePoint".
  4. Select the page that should be the previous or next page in your presentation and click "Insert".
  5. Navigate to the "Format Text" tab of your toolbar and click "Edit Source".

Edit the code for the link by adding the text in bold below:

   <a href="/odot/OOH/YourSite/Pages/Previous-or-Next-Page.aspx" class="odot-btn previous">Previous</a><br/></div>
or
   <a href="/odot/OOH/YourSite/Pages/Previous-or-Next-Page.aspx" class="odot-btn next">Next</a><br/>

Any edits to existing Prev or Next buttons can be accomplished through the "Link"; tab on your toolbar when your cursor is within the text of the link. You can change the link by clicking "Select Link".
