About
The I-205 Improvements Project is focused on seismic improvements to the Abernethy Bridge, which spans the Willamette River between Oregon City and West Linn, and safety improvements to the surrounding area.
Construction to improve and widen the Abernethy Bridge in 2022. We expect to finish construction in 2025 and implement a bridge toll to help repay roughly half of the construction cost — pending environmental review and federal approval. The other half will be paid for with transportation funds raised statewide.
