The Crash Data Viewer, or CDV, is a tool currently in development that allows users to view, filter, and query the State of Oregon’s crash data spatially. The CDV contains the latest 10 years of published crash data and numerous built-in filters to help users visualize different attributes contained within the crash data. Data is released annually and timing depends on many factors including how many crashes there are to analyze and code for a given year. The CDV is still in development so updates will be ongoing. It is highly recommended that user’s read all the tips and notes on the CDV interface, as well as become familiar with the User Guide, Crash Coding Manual, and Data Disclaimers. If you have any questions about the data or tool then please reach out to the ODOT TDS Crash Request Group. If you have questions about the platform used to make this tool (Tableau) then please visit the developers website.
