Are you REAL ID ready? Starting May 7, 2025 anyone 18 or older boarding a U.S. flight

must show federally accepted ID, like a state issued driver's license or ID card with the REAL ID option, or a passport. 

Here are four easy steps to get your REAL ID. 

Step one: Visit Oregon.gov/REALID.

Step two: Use our online tool to build your personalized document checklist. 

Step three: Drop by a DMV office near you or make an appointment at DMV2U.com.

Step four: Show your documents and pay for your card. 

There's an additional $30 fee for the REAL ID option the first time and each time you renew or replace your REAL ID.

Your REAL ID is your most important carry on. Make sure you have it in time to fly.
