Office of Economic Analysis

The Office of Economic Analysis (OEA) provides objective forecasts of the state's economy, revenue, population, corrections population, and Youth Authority population. These forecasts are used by the Governor, the Legislature, state agencies, and the public to achieve their goals.

Please use the navigation links on the left-hand panel for the current and archived documents on each of the forecast topics. Current forecast reports are listed below:

In addition to the forecasts, OEA manages the Oregon Highway Cost Allocation Study. The study report is issued every two years. This study is the main instrument used during legislative sessions to determine changes in weight-mile and fuel taxes and vehicle registration fees.
