Work Reimagined | Working Remotely

The way we work has changed over time. New technology encourages us to reimagine how our work gets done.

Remote work allows us to work from a place other than our office, like our home, or an agreed upon location between us and our agency. 

Governor Brown tasked the Reopening Advisory Team to lead reopening state office buildings to the public. First, we focused on public access and workforce re-entry. We also looked at hybrid work options. We reviewed who still needed in-office staff and technology needs. We considered workspace, facilities, parking, and human resource policies, like Policy 50.050.01, to guide our remote work.
