Self-Insurance Policy Manuals

The self-insurance policy manuals describe what losses are and are not covered under this program.The insurance fund, established by ORS 278.425, is used to provide both self-insurance and commercial insurance coverage for state of Oregon agencies. 

This policy establishes the liability self-insurance coverage provided to state agencies alone, by the insurance fund. The policy also establishes the conditions, standards and other requirements that govern or control the use of this coverage.

This policy applies to all state agencies and employees operating aircraft on state business.

This policy covers state employees and agents when they are duly performing the state's business and direct travel to that business at the state's direction and control. Employees and agents are not covered by the state while they engage in personal activities or activities prohibited by the state.
