Procurement Training Development Standards


Any training developed for credit towards Oregon procurement certification or a DAS issued certificate must comply with: 


In addition, the training curriculum must meet these minimum requirements:
  1. Address the tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities listed in the Oregon Procurement Body of Knowledge (OPBoK).
  2. Have a formal assessment with a pass/fail, numeric, or percentage grade. The passing mark for assessments with a numeric or percentage grade is 80%.
  3. Receive approval from the State Chief Procurement Officer (State CPO).
The State CPO must approve training curriculum before contact hours can be counted for certification purposes. Training developers or certification seekers may submit training for the State CPO's review and approval using this request form.
