The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) is
an independent entity responsible for overseeing the Certified Public
Procurement Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer
(CPPB) certification programs. These programs are highly esteemed among
procurement professionals and employers in the public sector. To date,
the UPPCC has certified over 10,000 professionals, primarily in the U.S.
and Canada, as well as other countries worldwide.

American Purchasing Society is an organization established in 1969 for buyers,
purchasing managers, executives, and others interested in the purchasing
profession. With members from every state and 28 countries worldwide,
