National Association of Social Workers (NASW)

National Association of Social Workers

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the professional organization for social workers nationwide. The NASW and the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers are not the same organization. While both organizations work with professional social workers, the Oregon BLSW is a state regulatory agency and the NASW promotes the profession of social work at the national level. The NASW is a great resource for social workers across the country and locally, providing services such as news, advocacy, continuing educations, links, jobs, code of ethics, meetings and more.

Contact the local or national chapters to inquire on a membership.
