Manufactured Dwelling Installer Study Guide

Study for the exam

This web-based study guide has been developed by the division to prepare for the Manufactured Dwelling Installer (MDI) license exam.
Limited Installers (LI) and Limited Skirting Installers (LSI) are not required to pass an exam, but should familiarize themselves with this study guide and the codebook.

Requirements

  • Review each section of the study guide including relevant Oregon Administrative Rules.
  • Complete the Proof of Training Certificate.
  • Submit your completed application along with the Proof of Training Certificate.
  • If you are required to take an examination to obtain a license or certification, it is strongly suggested that you complete one or more of the practice examinations.

    Proof of training

    Applicants must submit a completed Proof of Training Certificate with their completed license application. Those submitted to the division without the training certificate will not be processed until the training certificate is received.
