Becoming a Member


There is currently one vacany for an additional board member for the Oregon Project Management Advisory Board (OPMAB).

  • Help bring new training opportunities to state employees.
  • Professional Development Units (PDUs) are available for national certifications. 

Board Membership Criteria

To be considered for board membership, you must meet the following criteria: 

  1. Be a current full-time state employee.
  2. Be able to commit up to 4-5 hours per month to attend meetings, events, or work on assigned deliverables from the work plan.
  3. Be in one of the following job classifications and project management is 50% or more of your job duties (Note: we will consider other job classifications for positions with project management job duties being 50% or more):
    • Project Manager 1, 2, or 3
    • Operations Policy Analyst 3 or 4
    • Information Systems Specialist 5, 6, 7, or 8
    • Other Job Classification with Project Management Responsibilities 
    • Have approval from your manager to participate.
