PacifiCorp Sale Town Hall in Medford

Salem, OR – The Oregon Public Utility Commission has scheduled a Town Hall in Medford the evening of October 11, 2005 to provide information and obtain comments from the public about the proposed sale of PacifiCorp to MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company (MidAmerican).
The public is invited to attend the Open House from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. An Open House will precede the Town Hall. At the Open House people can come and go as they please, take information, ask questions, and make comments for the record. Members of the Commission Staff, MidAmerican, PacifiCorp, and customer groups will be available to answer individual questions during this time.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. the Commission will begin its more formal Town Hall in which the Commissioners will hear public testimony.
