On October 2, 2000, PacifiCorp filed a proposal with the Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) to restructure and reprice its services in accordance with Senate Bill 1149 passed by the 1999 legislature.

The PUC has suspended the filing and is conducting a rate investigation to determine the reasonableness of the proposed plan. As part of the investigation, the PUC has scheduled an evening public hearing to obtain comment from ratepayers about the proposed increases and adjustments.
