    The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB) is a state agency that provides grants to help Oregonians take care of local streams, rivers, wetlands and natural areas. OWEB grants are funded from the Oregon Lottery, federal dollars, and salmon license plate revenue. OWEB offers a variety of grant types and programs.

OWEB provides grants to projects that contribute to the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds and the Oregon Conservation Strategy by protecting, restoring and improving clean water and fish and wildlife habitat.

Roadmap to Long-Term Investment Strategy
The Long-Term Investment Strategy will be a multi-year framework for implementing OWEB's Mission and Strategic Plan Goals. It will identify how the Board desires to structure its investment portfolio in the future.
Board Approved $2.8 Million in Funding for the Small Grant Program
The Board approved $2.8 million in funding for the Small Grant Program for the 2011-2013 biennium with a distribution of $100,000 per Small Grant Team.
Watershed Process and Function

Natural watersheds have rivers and streams with cool clean water, pools, riffles, meanders, and the room to spread during high water events. They are home to a mix of native plants and provide good habitat for wildlife. In many parts of Oregon, these natural functions and process have been eliminated, altered or reduced. OWEB supports actions to restore these natural processes and functions.
