| Update #2: Oakridge Police Officer Released from Hospital; OSP Investigation Continues | ||

Lieutenant Gregg Hastings Public Information Officer (503) 731-3020 ext. 247 Oakridge Police Chief Louis Gomez advised today that Officer Daniel Miller was released from a Springfield-area hospital Thursday evening where he has been treated since an October 12th fatal traffic crash. Officer Miller was seriously injured and a 91-year old Oakridge woman died from her injuries. Oregon State Police troopers from the Oakridge and Springfield offices are continuing the investigation with the assistance of Oakridge Police Department. There is no estimated timeline for the completion of the investigation and no additional related information will be released.
