Continuing education is required for renewal of nursing home administrator (NHA) licenses in Oregon. Licensees are required to track and monitor their continuing education activities during the designated license period and to report these activities at renewal on a form provided by the Board.
A percentage of licensees will be notified they have been selected by random audit and asked to remit their attendance verification documents together with their continuing education report form.
Given that, the Board advises licensees to retain their continuing education attendance verification documents until their license has been renewed.
Licensees may hold either an “Active” or “Inactive” license depending on their employment status. The following describes the two types of licensure and their continuing education requirements.
