Note: No one is allowed to accompany a customer into the testing area while a knowledge test is being taken except for interpreters.

- From I-205 Northbound, take the Powell Blvd (OR-26) exit (Exit 19).
- Turn LEFT (West) on to Powell Blvd at the traffic light at the end of the off-ramp.
- Continue West on Powell Blvd for about 5 blocks.
- Turn LEFT (South) on 86th Ave (at the third traffic light).
- The DMV office is located on the corner of Powell Blvd and 86th Ave.
Going South
- From I-205 Southbound, take the Division St/Powell Blvd exit (Exit 19).
- This is a combination exit that accesses multiple streets.
- Continue South on the access road past Division St, follow the sign to Powell Blvd.
- Turn RIGHT (West) at the traffic light on Powell Blvd.
- Continue West on Powell Blvd for about 5 blocks.
- Turn LEFT (South) on 86th Ave (at the third traffic light).
- The DMV office is located on the corner of Powell Blvd and 86th Ave.
Going East (from downtown Portland)
- Take the Ross Island Bridge across the Willamette river.
- Continue East on Powell Blvd (OR-26) for several blocks.
- Turn RIGHT (South) on 86th Ave (about 5 blocks before I-205).
- The DMV office is located on the corner of Powell Blvd and 86th Ave.
Going West
- Travel West on Powell Blvd (OR-26).
- Continue West about 5 blocks past I-205.
- Turn LEFT (South) on 86th Ave (at the third traffic light).
- The DMV office is located on the corner of Powell Blvd and 86th Ave.
