Transportation Commission approves funds for 14 projects in eastern Oregon

The Oregon Transportation Commission approved the allocation of $45.8 million for 14 highway projects in eastern Oregon yesterday. With this approval, the projects can be moved into the current Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
 
HB 2001 authorized the Oregon Transportation Commission to approve and allocate specific funds to local governments for highway projects. These 14 projects were reviewed and recommended for approval by the Northeast Area Commission on Transportation and the Southeast Area Commission on Transportation.
