The Oregon Transportation Commission will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, in the Compass Room of McMenamins Grand Lodge, 3505 Pacific Avenue, in Forest Grove.
Items on the commission agenda include:
- An update from the Historic Columbia River Highway Advisory Committee;
- A request to approve use of saved American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds for solar highway projects and to purchase passenger train equipment;
- A request for approval of the amended 2010 – 2013 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program funding levels; and
- A request for approval of Immediate Opportunity Fund projects in Madras and in Umatilla.
Meetings of the Oregon Transportation Commission are open to the public. Time will be available at the meeting for commissioners to hear public comments.
Transportation Commissioners will hold a joint meeting with commission members from the Washington and California commissions on Wednesday, July 22. That meeting will be held at 11:30 in Public Meeting Rooms A and B in the ODOT Region 1 building, 123 N.W. Flanders Street, in Portland.
