Volunteer Opportunities
Off-Highway Vehicle Trails
Volunteers are actively contributing their time and energy to constructing and building trails, patrolling forest trails, and serving as hosts in forest campgrounds.

With the newly expanding recreation program, volunteer efforts help stretch limited dollars and resources. Please consider volunteering to help support the program.

  • Provide information to users, such as maps and trail recommendations
  • Report hazardous trail conditions
  • Provide basic first aid and assistance during emergency
  • Inform users of forest regulations (non-enforcement)

If you would like to become a Volunteer Trail Patroller, are an experienced trail user and have knowledge of the Tillamook State Forest, then please review the position description and fill out an application.
