Western Lane District´s fire protection program provides fire prevention, fire detection, pre-suppression and fire suppression. The District´s headquarters is located in Veneta. District operations are supported by our sub-unit office in Florence.
Fire fighting personnel are made up of full time employees and over 20 individuals hired as seasonal employees.
Seasonal positions include:
- Fire Fighter
- Single Resource Boss
- Forest Officer
