Farm Direct Marketing: Introduction
The Oregon Guide to Farm-Direct Marketing is intended to provide Oregon farm and seafood producers with a basic understanding of opportunities and regulations regarding direct marketing of Oregon agricultural products. The information presented here is based on current Oregon law, as of June 2006. Regulations discussed in this guide are stated in general terms to better apply to all direct marketers. No attempt has been made to provide legal advice. It is important that producers research regulations relating to their own particular circumstances by contacting the appropriate agencies and organizations listed in the resource sections of this handbook.
