The money, provided to the Oregon Department of Agriculture for disbursement to successful applicants, will provide assistance to producers of mint, potatoes, grass seed, wine, and pears. To a state like Oregon, where no single commodity dominates overall agricultural production, any funds that help specialty crops is quite welcome.
