The Oregon Department of Energy has information to assist companies qualified to perform energy audits for schools under the SB1149 program.
The Department of Energy´s Audit Review Procedures are available for school auditors. The Department of Energy will perform a site audit to verify identified EEMs. The list of Department of Energy auditing equipment is available for auditors to review.
Some valuable information for qualified energy auditors is the weather data. Bin data is provided so that all the qualified auditors are using similar data. If data does not exist for the school´s location, then use data from a location with a similar weather pattern. Data can also be generated from other weather data (e.g., averaging North Bend and Astoria data to derive Lincoln City data); or, data can be generated from other weather sources (e.g. the Oregon Climate Service).
