Local Wetlands Inventory maps range in size from 11"x17" to 36"x48" and usually consist of several maps; however, some LWIs may have as many as 50 maps. The Department does not have internal reproduction capabilities for LWI maps larger than 11"x17".
Presently, there are a couple of links to cities (see Cities and Areas with Approved Local Wetlands Inventories) that have an LWI on their web site. In addition, the Department now has the most recent LWIs on the Department web site.
ORDER A COPY OF AN AREA OF A LWI
Department staff will make a single page copy of a specific area upon receiving a written request that includes the TRS and tax lot number(s), a vicinity map with nearest cross streets, and a tax lot map with Township, Range, Section, tax lot number(s) and streets. On-site data sheets and wetland summary sheet can be requested for the area specified.
ORDER LWI DOCUMENTATION
If you want copies of LWI documentation (on-site data sheets, wetland summaries, OFWAM, etc.), the Department can provide copies at a cost of $0.25 per page for the first 25 pages and $0.10 per page after the first 25 pages. In addition, a $14.00/hour labor will be charged. Pre-payment is required. ORDER A LWI MAP OR COMPLETE SET OF MAPS
Copies of an entire LWI map set can be requested. The maps are sent to an outside vendor for reproduction. The cost varies depending on map size and the number of maps. Estimated cost ranges from $2.00 to $5.00 per map sheet for black & white reproduction and $4.00 for shipping for the first map and $0.25 for each additional map.
