The opinions expressed herein reflect those of the worksite redesign advisory team and are not intended to establish mandatory design requirements. Users of this manual are referred to the applicable Oregon administrative rules, zoning ordinances, building codes or other local regulations concerning design or construction standards. To the extent that those standards conflict with any provision contained herein, this manual should not be construed in any way as superseding the applicable design or building requirements. Neither the State of Oregon, the Mental Health and Developmental Disability Services Division, the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration, or the Worksite Redesign Advisory Team make any representation or warrenty that compliance with any design recommendation contained herein will reduce or eliminate any particular risk of harm to a resident or employee providing care in the residential facility.
