2010 Proposed Rule Changes

The Department of Human Services, Public Health Division is proposing to amend OARs relating to Radiation Protection Services. Proposed amendments and new rule text for OAR, chapter 333, divisions 100, 102, 103, 106, 116, 118, 119, and 120 pertaining to Radiation Protection Services have been drafted. A proposed division 124, civil penalites has been drafted to be adopted.

Radiological Emergency Response program staff respond to approximately 100 emergency calls each year. The staff will answer questions, advise actions, and if necessary, respond to any radiological emergency within the state of Oregon.
