These microphotographic images were taken at the Oregon State Public Health Laboratory (OSPHL).
Images are also acquired for the purposes of education in parasitic diseases. To see CDC DPDx's parasite web site go to: http://www.dpd.cdc.gov/dpdx/ Laboratories wanting assistance with unusual or difficult parasite samples are encouraged to send them to the OSPHL for identification. If necessary, we can capture digital images and send them by E-mail to CDC for rapid consultation. |
