  • American Heart Association, The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke."

     

  • American Stroke Association, The American Stroke Association is the division of the American Heart Association that's solely focused on reducing disability and death from stroke through research, education, fundraising and advocacy.

     

  • Northwest Regional Stroke Network, The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention awarded the Washington State Department of Health funding to form the Northwest Regional Stroke Network, which includes Alaska, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon.

     

    The focus of the network is to work across the Northwest region to: Assess needs - for each state and across the region; Build capacity - strengthen and improve stroke care; and Collaborate - work together with regional resources and policies.
