The National Initiative to Improve Adolescent Health

Improving the Health of Adolescents and Young Adults is a resource developed as part of the National Initiative to Improve Adolescent Health by the Year 2010 (The National Initiative).

Anchored in Healthy People 2010, the National Initiative prioritizes 21 adolescent- and young adult-specific health objectives that address mortality, unintentional injury, violence, mental health and substance abuse, reproductive health, and prevention of chronic diseases.
