Oregon State Hospital patient on unauthorized leave

A 20-year-old psychiatric patient was reported on unauthorized leave at 4:15 p.m. on Sunday from the Portland campus of Oregon State Hospital.

The patient, Sydney Coleman, left the custody of her parents while on an outing pass to the Portland Art Museum in downtown Portland.

Hospital officials describe Coleman as a white female, 5'7", 139 pounds with short brown hair and green eyes. When last seen she was wearing jeans, a white T-shirt and heavy black shoes.

Coleman is a civil committed patient. The hospital has dispatched search teams and the Portland City Police have been notified. Anyone seeing the patient should call Oregon State Police at 1 (800) 452-7888.
