This theme reflects the importance of the mission and goals of the President's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health - Achieving the Promise: Transforming Mental Health Care in America. Past awards have recognized students, volunteers, educators, professionals, and consumers of mental health services. The event is sponsored by the Oregon Department of Human Services, the Oregon chapter of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill and the Oregon Psychiatric Association. |
