Incident Response Privacy/Information Security Incident Response Program (PSIRP) The Federal Security Rule requires us to form an Incident Response program. The department recognizes that this program is an important tool, which can assist in securing our systems/data and identify training needs.
PSIRP is an “Incident Response” program, which captures both Privacy and Information Security Incidents. The DHS Information Security Office (ISO) is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and responding to privacy/information security incidents, with involvement from department representatives in the resolution process.
